(Approximately 4 hours, not for beginners) Leaves the ranch at 8:00 a.m or 1:00 p.m.  Includes a trailside snack

 

Dinner Rides

Adults $75, Children $55

Dinner ride is a 1 ½ hour ride that leaves the ranch at 4:00, and includes dinner back at the ranch served in the main lodge.  Children’s price is for kids between the ages of 6 and 12 when ordering off of the kids menu.  Beer and wine are available for an additional charge. 3.9% sales tax will be added.                                           Gratuity not included

 

RATES

• Our minimum age for trail rides is 6 years old for safety reasons.
• We don’t “pony”, (lead a child on a horse with a lead rope) for safety reasons.
• We don’t double in the saddle (a parent riding in the same saddle with their child) for safety reasons.
• We do offer pony rides at the ranch for children too young to go on the trail ride ($10) Space available, reservations not taken.
• All riders must sign a liability waiver before riding.
• We require a credit card to confirm reservations.
• We recommend guests leave Steamboat Springs 1 hour before their scheduled riding time.  It is a beautiful 35-45 minute drive to the ranch, and we need riders here 15 minutes early to get signed in and saddled up.
• We have a deck with picnic tables if guests would like to bring a picnic for before or after their horseback ride.
• We serve breakfast from 7:30-10:00 a.m. each day if guests would like to have breakfast at the ranch before their trail ride.
• We can arrange a Western BBQ dinner for large groups at the ranch.
• Steamboat Lake State Park is located directly across the road from Dutch Creek Guest Ranch ($5 park pass needed) Guests may enjoy making a day of it and combining their trail ride with some lake activities.  Steamboat Lake Marina offers paddle boat, fishing boat, canoes and pontoon boat rentals. Reservations usually needed. 879-7019. Swimming and fishing are also available at Steamboat Lake.
• We are often asked about tipping etiquette for trail rides.  It is customary to tip your trail guide at the end of a trail ride. Our guideline is 10-20% of the trail ride cost.
